As a result of modern computer technology, practically any letter style (or artwork) can be incorporated into a cast bronze memorial markers.

Listed below are 36 standard letter styles most commonly used on cast bronze grave markers. Other fonts are available upon request through our graphics department.

Custom letter styles may also be provided for cast bronze grave markers. Before submitting artwork, please be sure to discuss it with one of our memorial consultants.

Raised vs. Recessed Graphics

The casting process creates plaques with 2 levels of graphics - raised and recessed. Graphic images are raised .100" from the background texture. These plaques pictured below were made from the same artwork but the raised and recessed areas were interpreted differently.

Letters can be recessed on a cast bronze memorial marker if the stroke of the letters is at least 1/8" at all points or serifs. Please consult your Cemetery to see if they allow recessed lettering on Bronze Memorials. Talk to our Marker Consultants about lettering for further guidance.
